Bethany Brandon

Hi, my name is Bethany. I graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 2024. During my first year as a new graduate, I worked in outreach, delivering services to regional, rural and remote communities. During my studies, I also worked as an Allied Health Assistant, working alongside Occupational Therapists, which helped me to gain hands-on experience. I am so excited to join the Lifespan team!

I have previously enjoyed working with kids to support skills like emotional regulation, self-care skills, motor skills, and friendship and social skills. I believe it is so important for every kid to be able to engage in activities that are meaningful to them. I am passionate about making therapy fun and motivating for kids, by including their interests and allowing them to take the lead.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crocheting, walking and spending time with friends and family. I also like to sing and enjoy listening to music. I love going to the beach and trying new cafes.
